Customize the website widget

Employers who embed the Jobmaps widget on their own website can now control its appearance themselves. A new settings page in the account defines job title colour, light or dark theme and scale, once per organisation, applied to every embedded widget.

The Jobmaps website widget can be customised in three areas: the job title colour as a HEX value, the theme between light and dark, and the scale as a factor. The values are set once per organisation in the Jobmaps account and apply to every widget embedded on the company's pages.

This is particularly useful for websites with their own corporate design. The listings adapt to the visual identity, not the other way around.

Previously, theme and scale were set as attributes on the embed code, every change required the web agency. Now the values live directly in the Jobmaps account: job title colour as HEX, theme between light and dark, scale as a factor. Changes apply instantly to every widget the organisation has embedded, without touching the code in the CMS.

The setting is available on every account, including Free. It can be found under Settings, in the Widget section. Anyone who has not yet embedded the widget will find the embed code in the same place.
