Entry is usually possible from a medical profession: nursing, MPA (medicinal practice assistant), or medical secretary, complemented by further training in medical coding up to the federal vocational diploma. The requirements include precise work, medical understanding, and a passion for classification systems. Part-time workloads and some work-from-home options are common.
