This includes personal care, household support, and companionship outside the home. Many positions are paid by the hour or in small workloads; evening and night shifts are also advertised.
Requirement is the course “Care Assistant SRK” from the Red Cross - about 120 lessons plus practical training. The profession is a proven entry into nursing: as a re-entry, as a second career, or as an interim step toward FaGe or HF.
Good spoken German is needed for client contact and nursing documentation. For Spitex assignments, a category B driving license is often a prerequisite.
