Senior Process Engineer

Responsible for the system engineering of plant systems and ensuring overall plant functionality Process design and configuration of plant systems according to customer requirements, considering applicable standards and company guidelines Preparation of process calculations related to mass balances, heat transfer, and safety systems Specification of components, instruments, and equipment Development of functional specifications for plant control systems, incl. operations, control loops, and alarms Preparation of plant-specific risk assessments in accordance with the Machinery Directive and CE requirements Execution of design reviews and review of test documentation to ensure compliance with all project and customer requirements Participation in project meetings with our customers Execution of commissioning and acceptance tests at our facilities and, as required, at customer sites worldwide Updating, reviewing, and managing engineering documentation Preparation, execution, and supervision of inspection procedures to ensure CE compliance according to the Pressure Equipment Directive

• University degree (University of Applied Sciences) or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related technical field (Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, Food Technology, Chemistry)

• Strong expertise in process engineering and plant engineering

• Knowledge of hygienic design principles and experience with ASME BPE standards is an advantage

• 7-10 years of experience as a Process Engineer in plant engineering/construction

• Open and communicative personality with a solution-oriented mindset and approach

• Willingness to travel globally (ranging from a few days up to several weeks)
