Field Service Technician

Role and responsibilities
Collaborate with customers on-site to identify optimization opportunities and resolve existing challenges. Perform service assignments, identify technical issues, and conduct on-site or remote analysis within the service categories and product areas for which you are certified. Prepare material lists for service assignments and ensure that all required materials, spare parts, and tools are available, complete, and in proper working condition. Provide training to field service colleagues and customers as required.
Team / description
This role is part of the Electrification, Smart Power division in Baden. Your key stakeholders will include customers, field service colleagues, and the internal service coordination team. You will become part of a collaborative and supportive team where you can continue to grow both professionally and personally.
Qualifications and Skills
Completed vocational training as an Automation Technician, Electrician, Electrical Installer, Electrical Planner, or a comparable technical qualification
At least 3 years of professional experience in automation, electrical engineering, or a related technical field; experience with UPS systems (uninterruptible power supply) is an advantage
Solid knowledge of electromechanical systems, diagnostic tools, and service processes in an industrial environment
Strong customer focus, flexibility in adapting to changing requirements, and a solution-oriented and collaborative approach to teamwork
Fluent German and basic English skills for professional communication with customers
Willingness to travel, participate in an on-call rotation, and occasionally work weekends; primary service area: Region Central Switzerland
Valid driver's license for assignments within Switzerland
