Service Team Leader

Role and responsibilities
In this role, you will lead a regional service team with diverse expertise in service planning, order processing, and service execution within the Electrification business area. Together with your team, you will ensure comprehensive customer support for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems across the German-speaking region of Switzerland. Reporting directly to the Head of Service UPS Systems, you will make a significant contribution to the implementation of the service strategy and the promotion of business growth. Through efficient planning and targeted allocation of resources, while ensuring compliance with established processes, procedures, and guidelines, you will drive high service quality and operational excellence. You will be mainly accountable for: Leading, coaching, and developing a regional service team consisting of Service Coordinators, Order Handling Specialists, Technical Support Engineers, and Field Service Technicians, while fostering a motivating, safe, and performance-oriented work environment. Taking overall responsibility for all service activities, customer orders, and maintenance operations within the region, ensuring the achievement of quality, performance, and commercial targets, maintaining customer relationships, and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction. Providing operational support to the team (approximately 60% of the role) in service planning (FSL), including the review and approval of weekly reports and expense claims. Ensuring the implementation of and compliance with all occupational health and safety requirements.

Qualifications and Skills
Technical vocational training in Electrical Engineering, complemented by a job-related advanced qualification at Higher Technical College level (e.g., Certified Technician, Master Craftsman, or equivalent).
Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in the maintenance, servicing, commissioning, and repair of electrical installations.
Experience with power electronics and/or UPS systems.
Several years of leadership experience in a similar position.
A flexible and resilient personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A structured and solution-oriented approach to work and problem-solving.
Willingness to travel throughout Switzerland.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications as well as SAP or other ERP systems.
Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken; French and Italian are an advantage.
