Quality Control Technician

Role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist the Quality team in implementing and maintaining a quality system, including conducting audits, establishing controls, training on tools and methodologies. Each day, you will support activities related to quality management within the organizational unit. You will also showcase your skills by reporting quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and customer cases and maintaining process documentation. Prevention and surveillance have a key role in manufacturing to ensure optimal quality level and keeping cost under control. As production quality technician, you will represent the voice of customer into the shopfloors, ensuring that the control plan and quality procedures are in place and adhered to. You will also monitor CTQ and quality indicator of OEE to take preventive action on quality problems and supervising the release of production batches in accordance with quality prescriptions. You will be mainly accountable for: Performing series release tests of manufactured components or products and monitoring the results. Participating in shopfloor meetings within production. Resolving internal claims in cooperation with other departments. Conducting first‑line internal non‑conformity analysis and initiating the problem‑solving process in case of escalation. Managing Q‑data including deployment of quality control procedures in Q‑software and adjustment of process parameters. Controlling and reporting production‑related Q‑KPIs such as internal failure costs, CTQs, and FPY. Providing quality training to production staff, supervising test equipment, and carrying out process audits and confirmations.

Qualifications and Skills
Test equipment verification including calibration.
Technical background in electrical and/or mechanical fields.
Experience performing release tests for serial production.
Understanding of Q‑KPIs and control charts.
Knowledge of process audits and related quality methods.
Good language skills in German and English, written and spoken.
Goal‑oriented, problem‑solving mindset with L6S knowledge (yellow/green belt preferred), collaborative approach, initiative, teamwork ability, and responsiveness.
