Sales Manager

Role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective division sales strategy within a regional market scope (Europe) and maintain it, to improve ABB’s market penetration and realize growth aspirations. Each day, you will define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and/or services to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Sales organization (other sales managers and sales specialists within scope) to achieve the sales targets through high performance.

Qualifications and Skills

  • You have experience in developing and executing sales strategies in a B2B environment involving products, systems, and/or services

  • You demonstrate a strong track record in achieving sales targets and driving business performance

  • You bring experience in leading, coaching, and developing sales teams

  • You are comfortable working with performance metrics and implementing corrective actions where needed

  • You have experience in customer engagement, including opportunity development and participation in contract-related activities

  • You hold a degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or bring equivalent practical experience
