Global Product Manager – Training Services – Motion Services Division

Role and responsibilities

In this role, you will manage the marketing of ABB’s training service offerings for Medium Voltage Drives, targeting defined market segments and ensuring alignment with market needs and business line strategy. You will be accountable for the full lifecycle of the offering portfolio, from development and launch to go-to-market, maintenance, pricing, and profitability. You will own the long-term profitable growth of the training services portfolio, ensuring offerings are scalable, competitive, and deliver customer value. By collaborating across functions and regions, you will support business results and continuously optimize performance, enabling high-quality service execution and capability development worldwide. Own and manage the global training services portfolio for Medium Voltage Drives, ensuring clear service definitions and scalability. Drive full lifecycle management of training services (concept, development, launch, scaling, phase‑out). Define training service roadmap aligned with business line strategy and product lifecycle evolution. Collaborate with sales, service, and regional teams to identify skill gaps and position training as part of service solutions. Translate installed base and modernization needs into targeted training offerings that improve execution and win rates. Enable field teams and customers through structured, role-based training paths and service offerings. Track performance (revenue, utilization, customer satisfaction) and drive continuous improvement and profitability. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards across global training services.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Management, or related field.

  • Several years of experience in training services, adult education, or service product management.

  • Strong understanding of industrial service environments and capability development.

  • Proven experience working in global, cross-functional and matrix organizations.

  • Commercial mindset with ability to manage service portfolios and lifecycle.

  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

  • Ability to translate technical/operational needs into scalable service offerings.

  • Customer- and safety-oriented, with proactive and collaborative approach.
