Role and responsibilities
Perform chemical analyses using ICP-OES and ICP-MS, with occasional support for GC-MS and LC-MS measurements. Support the development, validation, and optimization of analytical methods under supervision, primarily for ICP-based analyses. Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot analytical instruments. Evaluate, document, and report analytical results. Provide technical advice and analytical support within multidisciplinary project team. Ensure safe, organized, and efficient laboratory operations. Assist in training and supporting apprentices, interns, students, and researchers in analytical techniques.

Qualifications and Skills
Degree or professional qualification in chemistry with higher professional examination for chemical laboratory technicians, or equivalent expertise
Extensive practical experience in ICP-OES and ICP-MS, including sample preparation, method development, troubleshooting, and data interpretation
Basic to intermediate experience with GC-MS and LC-MS analytical techniques
Good computer skills, particularly in analytical and spectroscopy data processing software
Very good command of English, German is desirable
