Manage and operate advanced emission measurement equipment. Automate and streamline existing workflows and technical equipment Participate in high-stakes measurement campaigns at SR Technics and on field campaigns. Supervise and support student laboratory initiatives and research projects.

We, the Meteorology, Environment and Aviation Research unit at the ZHAW Center for Aviation, are a small, interdisciplinary team involved in aviation emissions measurements, impacts assessment and mitigation, urban air quality and meteorology and urban climate research. Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Chemistry, Engineering, or a related technical field

  • Natural aptitude for maintaining and automating measurement infrastructure

  • Eager to apply technical understanding to dry physical laboratory settings

  • Ability to approach complex tasks with a critical, expert eye and a drive for precision

  • Talent for data analysis and organizational potential necessary to manage logistics of complex field campaigns

  • Communicative, responsible, and proactive professional who thrives in a team-oriented setting

  • Fluency in both German and English

  • Valid Driver's License (Category B) for field operations
