Administration & Logistics Assistant

Role and responsibilities
Provide day-to-day general administrative support to the Finance & Administration Manager, e.g. processing of purchase orders, invoices, expenses, and tracking of minor expenditures. Assist in on-/offboarding of ETH Zurich personnel (administrative aspects). Organize and coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, conferences, reviews including room bookings, travel, accommodation, catering, and on-site arrangements.

Qualifications and Skills
You hold a commercial diploma, Matura or Handelsmittelschuldiploma and gained preferably first working experience in a lively business environment
Open minded teamplayer with an interest in natural sciences, especially those connected to the origins of life research
Commercial degree or similar
Eager to learn and develop new skills
Familiar with Microsoft Programs and Social Media tools
Well-organized, service oriented, hands-on mentality
Good language skills in German and English
Teamplayer with a sense of humour
