Maintenance Support Technician (TE-CRG-ML-2026-194-GRAE)

Collecting and consolidating maintenance data within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) - Supporting the preparation and coordination of maintenance activities on-site. Rolling out new maintenance methodologies in collaboration with field technicians. Enhancing work instructions, checklists, and quality assurance procedures used by contractors. Contributing to the implementation of maintenance policies and best practices for new cryogenic assets as part of the HL-LHC (High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider) project.

• Basic mechanical and electrical skills.

• Experience using Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

• Knowledge of cryogenics fundamentals or oil and gas systems would be an advantage.

• Ability to read technical drawings.

• Understanding of maintenance documentation.

• Demonstrated teamwork, safety awareness, and problem-solving.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.

• Strong safety awareness and willingness to follow established procedures.

• Motivation to learn and develop new technical competencies.

• Spoken and written English or French, with a commitment to learn the other language.

• You are a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.

• By the application deadline, you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is a general secondary education diploma.

• You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.

• Applicants with a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree are not eligible.
