Role and responsibilities
Lead a team of Product Managers responsible for the end-to-end consumer and private lister journey, from discovery to transaction. Define and execute a clear, opinionated product strategy for consumers, grounded in marketplace dynamics such as liquidity, trust, and conversion. Drive measurable improvements in demand-side performance, including engagement, lead quality, conversion, and retention. Partner closely with commercial leadership to accelerate growth of the private listers segment and unlock new value pools. Design and continuously evolve team topology and ownership domains aligned to strategy, not legacy structures. Establish rigorous OKRs and an effective operating cadence, linking product bets to business impact with clear success and stop criteria. Build a high-velocity, insight-driven product culture by leveraging experimentation, data, and AI to shorten learning loops. Coach and develop Product Managers into top-tier product leaders, raising the bar on product craft, judgment, and accountability. Represent the consumer domain in executive and board-level discussions, shaping company-wide priorities. Directly lead around 5 Product Managers, with potential to expand scope. Own a critical revenue and growth driver within the business unit. Influence cross-functional teams across design, engineering, data, and commercial functions. Be accountable for defining and prioritizing multi-million CHF investment areas.

Qualifications and Skills
8-12+ years of experience in Product Management, including meaningful leadership responsibility.
Experience in owning and scaling digital products, preferably in marketplaces, classifieds, platforms, or other consumer-facing businesses.
A degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is helpful, but not a must.
Strong product judgment and ability to focus on what truly matters for users and the business.
Understanding of consumer behavior, funnels, growth mechanics, and how to use data to make better product decisions.
Ability to work at both strategic and executional levels; from shaping product direction to ensuring high-quality delivery.
Confidence in defining metrics, interpreting signals, and translating insights into action.
Experience working in complex, cross-functional environments and skilled at aligning stakeholders across product, engineering, design, business, and senior leadership.
High ownership mindset, a bias for action, and a strong sense of accountability.
Familiarity with modern product, analytics, and experimentation tools.
Understanding of how AI can be applied practically in product development, personalization, and internal efficiency.
Fluency in English is required; German is a plus, but not required.
