Continuous Improvement Engineer

Role and responsibilities

Driving continuous improvement framework with governing improvement project portfolio Supporting the delivery of high impact improvement projects and savings ambition of the business Contributing Lighthouse Framework implementation, assessment and performance improvements Leading and coordinating cross-functional improvement initiatives with utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodology & toolbox Analyzing and mapping value streams within the organization Executing regular cost of poor quality (CoPQ) analysis to determine the source of issues and implement sustainable actions Facilitating improvement idea generation sessions Collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement Contributing to digitalization initiatives Developing and increasing Lean Six Sigma competency within the organization Acting as a final inspection deputy to define and execute improvements targeting quality enhancements in the factory

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering and/or related field

  • +5 years of experience in a similar position

  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt (preferable)

  • Proven track record of leading successful Continuous Improvement/ Lean Six Sigma projects

  • Digital tools knowledge; such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Query, Visual Basic for Applications etc.

  • Strong influencing skills within and outside the organization

  • Expertise in managing and driving change within an organization

  • Excellent communication skills to convey ideas and information clearly and effectively with proficiency in English, both written and spoken; German is a plus

  • Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans
