Role and responsibilities
Actively contribute to research projects in gas insulation applications. Conduct investigations on dielectric strength, dielectric recovery, partial discharge. Plan and execute high-voltage experimental studies. Model, simulate, interpret gas discharge phenomena. Develop innovative concepts for gas-insulated technologies. Support design and optimization of HV switchgear. Collaborate with global teams and external research institutes. Document results, publish findings and present your work at international conferences.

Qualifications and Skills
PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field with application in high voltage engineering
Strong knowledge of gas insulation and discharge physics
Practical experience in HV testing
Expertise in simulation tools such as MATLAB, Python, or COMSOL
Ability to analyze complex datasets and interpret results using statistical methods, modern AI tools
Solid English communication skills and structured working style
Relevant experience in industrial R&D is very beneficial
