Role and responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end execution of complex, international projects from commercial handover to successful closure, ensuring delivery against scope, timeline, quality, and financial targets. Act as the primary interface to global customers, building trusted relationships and leading high-impact engagements, including technical discussions and factory acceptance tests. Drive proactive risk and opportunity management, applying a strategic mindset to ensure sustainable project outcomes. Maintain full accountability for project performance, including financial steering, resource planning, and forecasting in close alignment with controlling. Lead contract execution, including change and claim management, safeguarding both customer satisfaction and business interests. Foster cross-functional collaboration and alignment across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams in a global setup. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and actively shape best practices within the project management function.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven track record (7+ years) managing complex projects in an industrial or technology-driven environment, ideally with international exposure

  • Demonstrated ability to lead stakeholders at multiple levels, including senior customer representatives and internal leadership

  • Strong commercial acumen with solid expertise in financial steering, risk management, and contract execution

  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence, negotiate, and present effectively in an international context

  • Experience working in matrix organizations and leading cross-cultural teams

  • Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, IPMA) are an advantage

  • Fluent in German or French; business fluent in English is mandatory
