Role and responsibilities

Management and coordination of all activities in the outbound logistics area, including picking, packaging, loading, and shipping. Optimization of warehouse and outbound logistics processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Leadership, motivation, and development of the outbound logistics team. Ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and legal requirements. Responsibility for inventory accuracy in outbound logistics, including conducting regular stocktakes. Close collaboration with internal departments (production, procurement, sales) as well as external logistics partners and freight forwarders. Analysis of relevant KPIs and preparation of reports on outbound logistics performance. Identification and implementation of improvement opportunities, including the introduction of new technologies. Ensuring smooth handling of customs and export procedures.

For our production site in Wettingen, we are looking for a committed and experienced individual as Manager of Outbound Logistics who, with a strong overview and sense of responsibility, manages the entire shipping process. In this key role, you ensure that our products reach our customers on time, in full, and in perfect condition—making a decisive contribution to our delivery reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Completed training in logistics, supply chain management, or a comparable qualification (e.g., certified logistics specialist with a federal diploma)

  • Several years of professional experience in a leadership role in outbound logistics or logistics, ideally in a manufacturing company

  • Solid knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)

  • Experience in team leadership and strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical and conceptual abilities as well as a high level of initiative, sense of responsibility, and problem-solving competence

  • Fluent German (written and spoken; Swiss German is an advantage) and good English skills

  • Familiarity with Swiss export and customs regulations

  • Flexibility regarding working hours when required
