Cross-Border Business Expert

Role and responsibilities

Provide guidance and advice to the Bank’s front units and further internal stakeholders on cross-border compliance matters and questions of daily business. Conduct regular cross-border market reviews and prepare analyses, assessments and reports for management. Provide expert support for the production and ongoing improvement of cross-border country manuals; prepare and conduct trainings for the Bank’s front units. Monitor legal and regulatory developments and inform front units and further internal stakeholders about any relevant updates. Further develop the Bank's cross-border framework and identify areas for improvement; perform regular updates on policies, procedures, processes, and controls. Act as senior subject matter expert for cross-border supporting respective business projects and initiatives. Support the roll-out of the Bank's cross-border principles and standards to further entities in Switzerland and international locations. Support internal and external audit requests related to cross-border.

Qualifications and Skills

  • University degree in Business Administration or Law or completed apprenticeship or similar banking education

  • 3 - 5 years of practical experience in the field of cross-border regulation

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Willingness to take responsibility and ability to work under pressure

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

  • Hands-on mentality

  • Fluency in English; Fluency in German and/or French is a plus
