Data & Analytics Specialist (Life Sciences)

Contribute to the development and execution of a centralized data strategy, including the rollout of data solutions, data governance and data quality guidelines. Design, develop and implement data analytical solutions for data processing, analysis, and visualization. Develop scalable data pipelines and workflows using Databricks and cloud technologies (AWS). Maintain and continuously improve databases, supporting systems, templates and metadata to ensure reliable data operations. Monitor data quality metrics and continuously improve data accuracy, consistency, and robustness across systems. Develop automation solutions, web applications and API integrations. Contribute to local and global projects and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

During the ongoing project, the responsibility for project management, the previously defined laboratory services and the deployment of our employees in this project lies with Eurofins PSS.

• Degree in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, R, or similar scripting languages

• Experience in data analysis, data management, and database systems

• Knowledge of Databricks is an advantage

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS

• Experience with web application development and API integrations

• Hands-on experience with Power BI and data visualization best practices

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data quality and accuracy

• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international project teams
