Role and responsibilities

  • Planning, construction, and validation of greenfield hydrogen process plants, comparable to Direct Reduction Iron (DRI) facilities

  • Developing and optimizing reactor designs

  • Planning and executing large-scale projects

  • Coordinating suppliers and partner contractors

  • Collaborating within interdisciplinary project teams

Qualifications and Skills

Education

  • Technical education (apprenticeship EFZ, university of applied sciences, or university degree)

 

Profile

  • Relevant professional experience in the steel industry, particularly in the construction and design of DRI plants

  • Expert knowledge in DRI reactor design

  • Experience in plant safety

  • Proven track record in delivering large-scale projects

  • Proficiency in German and/or English (spoken and written)

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience with hydrogen systems

  • Experience delivering large-scale hydrogen projects

  • Willingness to travel across Switzerland

  • Availability for project-related international travel

  • Additional language skills (e.g., French, Spanish, etc.)
