Lead Reporting Solution SAP Group Reporting, temporary

Role and responsibilities
Lead the reporting work stream within the wider SAP Group Reporting program, including design, build, testing and deployment to business users. Define the target reporting architecture for Group reporting. Design analytical views and reports that consume SAP Group Reporting data. Coordinate data integration between SAP Group Reporting, SAP Business Data Cloud and Databricks. Ensure that reporting solutions are accurate, controlled and aligned with Group Finance requirements (IFRS, management reporting, KPIs). Define the target reporting architecture for SAP Group Reporting, leveraging SAP Embedded Analytics, SAP Business Data Cloud and Databricks. Design data views, virtual data models and semantic layers that provide a single source of truth for Group reporting. Translate business requirements into concrete reports, dashboards and analytical models. Drive the build of SAP Fiori / Embedded Analytics reports, Self‑service analytics via SAP Business Data Cloud, Analytical models and data products in Databricks where needed. Coordinate data flows between SAP Group Reporting, Business Data Cloud and Databricks in close collaboration with IT and data teams. Run workshops with Group Finance, BU Finance and other stakeholders to capture and prioritise reporting needs. Lead the Reporting Solution work stream within the wider SAP Group Reporting programme. Own the work stream plan, milestones, dependencies and risks; provide regular status updates to programme management. Coordinate design, build, SIT/UAT, and deployment activities for reporting solutions. Prepare cut‑over and handover to BAU, including documentation, training and support model. Define test strategy, test cases and acceptance criteria for reporting solutions. Coordinate test execution with Finance and IT, manage defects and ensure resolution before go‑live.

Qualifications and Skills
Practical experience with SAP Embedded Analytics (e.g. CDS views, Fiori reporting), Cloud based data and analytics platforms (SAP Business Data Cloud, Databricks or similar).
Hands on experience with SAP Group Reporting or comparable SAP consolidation / reporting tools (e.g. S/4HANA Finance, BPC, BW/4HANA).
Strong experience in Group Reporting / consolidation and financial close processes (month end, quarter end, year end).
Bachelor or Master in Finance or Finance/IT
Proven track record leading a work stream or project in a finance / IT transformation programme.
Experience in planning, tracking and delivering milestones, managing risks and dependencies.
Strong stakeholder management skills, able to work effectively with Group Finance, BU Finance, IT, data teams and external partners.
Experience with SIT/UAT, test case definition and defect management.
Exposure to change management and handover to BAU (training, manuals, support processes).
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Experience working in complex, global programmes, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
Strong collaboration skills and a “one team” attitude, supporting both Finance and IT colleagues.
