BA/SME Databricks - Finance Transformation, temporary

📍 Zürich

Role and responsibilities

Work with Group Finance, BU Finance and data/analytics teams to identify and refine use cases for Databricks (e.g. finance data pipelines, advanced analytics, scenario analysis, data products). Gather and challenge business requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications for Databricks solutions. Assess which requirements should be implemented on Databricks vs. other platforms (SAP, Anaplan, BI tools), in line with the Finance technology strategy. Define and document Finance processes that rely on Databricks (e.g. data preparation for reporting, modelling workflows, analytics). Contribute to the Databricks operating model for Finance: roles, responsibilities, ways of working with Group IT / data platform teams. Evaluate solution options for Finance needs. Develop business cases for Databricks initiatives, including benefits (data quality, automation, speed, insight), effort and cost. Support prioritisation of Databricks use cases within the Finance Transformation roadmap. Translate business needs/requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria. Define test cases and acceptance criteria for Databricks solutions from a Finance perspective. Coordinate UAT with Finance users, manage defects and support resolution. Ensure Databricks initiatives remain aligned with the target Finance technology and data architecture defined by the Business Solution Architects.
