Project Planner/Scheduler – Data Centre Construction

Role and responsibilities

As part of a project team, you will be responsible for the preparation and monitoring of complex project schedules within large-scale construction projects in the data centre sector. You will ensure the accuracy, validity, and completeness of the schedules and prepare progress reports for project reporting purposes. You will identify, analyse, and communicate deviations, and develop proposals for corrective actions. You will coordinate internal and external schedules, assess methodologies and control systems, and develop improvement measures. As a consultant, you will foster clear and structured communication with internal client stakeholders and external design teams.

Qualifications and Skills

  • You hold a technical or university degree, ideally with a focus on construction or engineering.

  • You bring approximately 7 years of relevant experience in project controls for industrial or data centre projects, including at least 5 years of specialised experience in scheduling.

  • You have excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, demonstrate strong goal orientation and empathy, and enjoy working on complex large-scale projects.

  • You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, and are proficient in MS Office applications.

  • You have strong experience using Primavera (P6) and MS Project.
