Switchboard operator

The role includes answering and managing incoming calls, providing information in line with internal and external guidelines, and transferring calls to the appropriate contacts and/or taking accurate messages when required.

• Successfully completed commercial education

• Fluency in English and national languages

• Around 2-4 years of working experience as Switchboard operator

• Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize request from various sources, work under pressure

• Active Listening: Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times

• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office package

• Communicative, trustworthy presence, politeness

• Ability to work in a team and listening skills

• Actively looking for ways to help people
