Group Financial Controller

Role and responsibilities

Lead the ICS and control framework process for the Group. Lead the procedures and accounting policy transformation. Manage the Balance Sheet optimization of the Group as well as Capital and dividend flows globally from subsidiaries. Own the chart of accounts evolution process, lead the discussions around Consolidation tool and general ledger / ERP. Finance process and systems Optimisation. Coordinate with the Local CFOs and manage the Global CFO. Lead and manage Finance related projects from initiation to completion. Develop project plans, timelines and budgets. Presentations to ExCO and GBC. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery. Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions. Process analysis (start-to-end); identifying and then targeting bottlenecks. Holistic management of the ongoing developments.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or similar

  • Banking experience will be considered as a plus

  • Qualified Charter accountant with experience outside of Audit practice

  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in a similar role

  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering results.

  • Fluent in English both written and spoken, French, German and/or Italian are a plus;

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and Company Law.

  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution and monitoring.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
