Role and responsibilities

You are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining pricing models and frameworks that are tailored to new equipment categories and customer segments. Lead strategic projects with pricing focus in close collaboration with product management, external partners, sales, Service Supply Chain, IT and finance, and ensure that pricing reflects both the value proposition and customer expectations. Analyze price and cost structures as well as market elasticity to inform strategic pricing decisions. Monitor key metrics like HIT rates, deal sizes, and margins to refine pricing strategies over time. Build and maintain strong collaboration across departments to assure on-target pricing execution, and act as point-of-contact for pricing-related topics across the organization and towards customers. You identify and develop innovative pricing strategies, communicate them effectively and ensure their successful implementation. Communicate strategies and price adjustments clearly and effectively to stakeholders across all seniority levels and address concerns proactively in a solution-oriented manner. By offering practical solutions to pricing objections, you build trust and support the sales team in closing deals.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Commercial and/or technical education degree, combined with several years of professional experience in pricing for capital goods or related industries.

  • Extensive project management experience and experience in stakeholder management as well as presenting in front of senior audience.

  • Strong analytical skills and deep knowledge Excel and SAP Proven expertise in a variety of competitive pricing approaches, applied successfully in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to communicate complex pricing strategies and data insights clearly to non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.

  • Proficiency in English is essential. German language skills are a plus.
