Hardware Integration Engineer

Role and responsibilities
Develop product-specific hearing system solutions and integrate hardware sub-systems. Define electroacoustic transducers and support wireless system design. Build and test hearing system prototypes. Develop software tools for measurement systems and hardware validation. Define hardware limits, quality characteristics, and test criteria. Collaborate within interdisciplinary agile R&D teams. Support knowledge sharing, onboarding, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills
BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in hardware development or integration
Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, RF Engineering, and Measurement Technologies
Experience with wireless technologies, PCB design, and electronic hardware design
Hands-on experience with prototyping, soldering, and measurement systems
Good knowledge of Matlab, Arduino, Windows, and MS Office
Very good English and German communication skills
Proactive, solution-oriented team player with strong communication skills
Experience or education in Acoustics, Audiology, or Hearing Systems (Nice to Have)
Knowledge of C#, Python, Confluence, or MS Teams (Nice to Have)
Exposure to project or functional leadership (Nice to Have)
