Role and responsibilities

Define and own the end-to-end data model across connected sensor-based products and software systems. Design scalable data structures to enable advanced analytics and AI-driven use cases. Ensure data quality, consistency, traceability and testability across the full data lifecycle. Provide technical leadership and act as a key point of reference for data modeling and architecture topics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data design with product, regulatory, legal and business requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

  • MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or a related field

  • Background in highly data-driven environments such as banking, finance, insurance or healthcare

  • Extensive experience in data modeling and data architecture

  • Proven experience designing data models for complex systems, ideally in IoT, sensor or connected device environments

  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality and regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR, medical devices)

  • Ability to lead and influence teams and stakeholders without formal disciplinary responsibility

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives

  • Passion for data-driven innovation and enabling advanced analytics and AI
