Index Analyst

Responsible for the management and maintenance of all SIX and custom equity and fixed income indices. Participate in Production, Corporate Actions, and Index Review shift rotations, including the coordination of ongoing index changes. Determine index constituents and weightings as part of the periodic review process. Provide incident management support and 2nd level operational support. Implement index changes across relevant applications and systems. Ensure compliance with Working Instructions, Index Governance requirements, and the Controls Framework. Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational quality, process stability, and efficiency, including the execution of Business Acceptance Testing (BAT).

The Index Operations team is an agile and international team responsible for the daily maintenance, reviews, and quality assurance of SIX’s equity and fixed income indices. By ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of indices used as benchmarks for financial products worldwide, we play a key role in supporting global financial markets.

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

• Excellent English communication skills; German or Spanish is an advantage.

• Strong Excel and Python skills for data analysis, automation, and operational support.
