Application Developer

Build scalable web and core systems for SIX’s Post-Trading business, focusing on robust architecture and efficient implementation. Modernize and maintain existing enterprise applications and web services. Collaborate with Product Owners and Architects to define solutions and maintain technical documentation. Perform reviews, enforce best practices, ensure security and regulatory compliance, and provide technical guidance to development teams. Promote automation in development processes, including CI/CD pipelines, and foster open communication within the team.

• At least 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications.

• Strong skills in Java (OpenJDK), Spring Boot, and Angular; experienced with OpenShift, GitLab, Ansible, Tomcat, and WildFly; and hands-on experience working with relational databases.

• Ability to lead and support development teams with technical guidance while actively contributing as a lead developer.

• Knowledge of secure coding practices and web security principles.

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken); German and/or Spanish are a plus.
