Role and responsibilities
In this role, you will work directly on military jets, primarily handling the following tasks:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on current and future military jets
Carry out scheduled maintenance, inspections, functional checks, including replacement and testing of mechanical and hydraulic systems (aircraft components, engines, etc.) in accordance with technical documentation
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems
Execute technical modifications and change orders
Participate in aircraft preparation and return-to-service activities
Ensure proper traceability of completed work and maintain maintenance documentation
Regular participation in internal Aviation training courses related to safety, quality and within maintenance operations / flightline support

Qualifications and Skills
Completed technical vocational training (EFZ/CFC) in a mechanical field (e.g. polymechanic, Sheet metal worker, vehicle mechanic, diagnostic technician, or comparable profession)
Strong interest in or previous aviation experiences of complex technical systems
Advanced conversational (technical) Englishskills (Level B1/B2) is a prerequisite
Good command of either French or German; knowledge of a second national language is considered as plus
Category B driving licence
Resilient personality with great team-player qualities and a strong sense of responsibility and flexibility for possible shift-work, combined with a precise, quality-oriented approach to work
Swiss citizenship/nationality (mandatory requiremenent for working on a military base)
