Design, build and enhance a modern OSINT and GEOINT applications for a security-critical environment Take ownership of features from concept to deployment Develop frontend solutions with React and TypeScript and backend services with Python Build and optimize PostgreSQL databases and APIs Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes-based deployments Ensure high standards of quality, security and performance Work closely with analysts, stakeholders and an international engineering team to deliver user-focused solutions Contribute to the adoption of new technologies and AI-assisted development practices

Every day, around 3,000 employees of RUAG and RUAG Real Estate make as significant contribution to the security of Switzerland. They ensure that the Swiss Armed Forces and other emergency and security organizations can comprehensibly carry out their tasks at all times.

• Degree in Computer Science, completed IT apprenticeship, or equivalent practical experience

• Solid background in software engineering with a focus on full-stack development

• Strong knowledge of React, TypeScript, Python and PostgreSQL

• Familiar with GitLab or GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Docker and Kubernetes

• Knowledge of authentication solutions such as Keycloak or RBAC is a plus

• Interest in modern AI-assisted development tools

• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership

• Team player with good communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing requirements

• Good English skills (minimum B2); German or French is a plus

• Comfortable working in a security-sensitive environment
