HR Administration Specialist

Role and responsibilities

Responsibility for the full scope of HR administration across the entire Employee Life Cycle (from onboarding to offboarding), including maintaining and ensuring accurate employee master data in SAP SuccessFactors as the foundation for payroll processing, preparing HR-related documents (e.g. training agreements), and coordinating all administrative onboarding and offboarding processes in close collaboration with Payroll, IT and Facility Management. Act as a point of contact for employees and managers regarding all HR administrative matters. Manage the absence administration process (illness, accident, maternity, paternity, EO, etc.), including SUNET notifications, daily allowance claims, and salary and vacation adjustments. Take ownership of Time Management, including monitoring, reviewing, correcting and following up on working time records in close collaboration with managers. Support the continuous improvement and digitalization of HR processes as well as contribute to local HR projects and audits.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Completed commercial education combined with a mandatory HR Assistant qualification

  • Several years of professional experience in a similar HR administration role, ideally within an international environment

  • Solid knowledge of Swiss employment law and social security systems, with strong experience in absence and time management

  • Strong user experience with SAP SuccessFactors or a comparable HR system, as well as MS Office (particularly Excel)

  • High IT affinity and interest in digital HR solutions and continuous process improvements

  • Fluent German skills (written and spoken) and good command of English; French is an advantage

  • Structured, independent and reliable working style combined with a high level of discretion, strong service orientation, and excellent communication and teamwork skills
