Production Planner & Material Scheduler

Role and responsibilities

Plan, control and optimize production considering manufacturing capacities, order and procurement situation, inventory levels and deadlines. Coordinate production plans in close collaboration with production. Respond to personnel and machine failures and initiate measures. Responsible for timely and accurate material disposition including escalation management. Work closely with logistics, business development, quality, technology and long-term planning. Participate in and analyze material losses as well as track KPIs. Ensure timely processing of raw materials within the specified minimum shelf life; maintain high cost and quality awareness. Actively participate in orders with suppliers without SAP connection (Mastershopper).

Qualifications and Skills

  • Completed training in Supply Chain Management or a comparable qualification with very good commercial knowledge

  • Relevant experience in production control or material planning is a significant advantage

  • PC skills (common MS Office systems); experience in operating ERP (SAP) systems (advantageous)

  • Very good communication and problem-solving skills; analytical thinking; ability to collaborate and maintain relationships

  • Fluent knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
