Role and responsibilities
Manages as teamlead the personnel activities of 6x20k USP production staff with overall responsibility of the shift teams with regard to safety, quality and on-time-in full delivery. Is responsible together with the Head of USP for production planning, problem solving and the realization of innovation projects. Is accountable for the performance and results of the shift teams together with the shift teamleads. Responsible for the safety culture, i.e. the general work safety as well as the safe behaviour of the shiftteams. Responsible for the training concept and execution of the shiftteams together with the shift teamsleads and the GMP technical trainer. Manages the Long-term and cost-optimized planning of shift teams.

Qualifications and Skills
B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in scientific field.
Solid work experience of 2-5 years in the GMP controlled pharmaceutical/biotech industry is a prerequisite.
Proven leadership and people management skills. Capable of managing multiple points of view and building partnerships. Embracing Lonza’s core leadership principles.
Comprehensive knowledge of production processes and interrelationships in a large production area with detailed knowledge of all process steps and systems
Experience in training execution and documentation.
Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required. Preferably, at least B1 Level (spoken and written) in German.
