Material Project Lead (MPL) –

Role and responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of customer projects ensuring material requirements are accurately maintained in the system according to project needs, lead times, and the production plan. Own the creation, maintenance, review, and decommissioning of the project BOM, coordinating with project teams to ensure fulfilment and updating systems accordingly. Identify and initiate requests for new material creation as required to support project needs. Liaise with the project team to address material issues from the project perspective, including identifying alternative materials and aligning on potential technical solutions. Perform material availability checks, ensuring correct batch allocation and accuracy of production material requests. Validate supply scenarios from the material availability perspective. Set-up the safety stock for non-common and unique materials as per customer contracts (in conjunction with Program Management organization) and ensure charging the materials at the end of the production campaigns as part of the SMOG process. Perform process order reviews for raw material consumption and adjust BOM to reflect accurate material requirements. Participates in supply chain improvement initiatives bringing material management expertise.

Qualifications and Skills
Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, SCM, Procurement, or similar fields.
Confirmed experience in SCM, Materials Planning/Scheduling, Project Management and/or Purchasing.
Proficient knowledge of SAP MM, Power BI, and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
A great team member with the ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in English is required, with additional German preferred.
