Project Manager, Analytical Development Small Molecules

Role and responsibilities

Act as the primary customer contact for all analytical topics throughout project execution. Plan and execute analytical projects, ensuring customer expectations and regulatory requirements are met in close collaboration with Process Development, Manufacturing, QA, QC, and other cross-functional teams. Lead the development, validation, and implementation of chromatographic analytical methods (HPLC, GC) and oversee analytical activities within your laboratory team. Provide scientific and technical leadership within multifunctional project teams and serve as a trusted partner to both internal stakeholders and external customers. Identify, evaluate, and implement emerging analytical technologies, scientific trends, and innovative solutions within your area of expertise. Lead and develop a laboratory team while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Ph.D. in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field, or a Master’s degree with relevant professional experience

  • Strong knowledge of analytical methods in general, with in-depth expertise in chromatography

  • Experience in cGMP, API development, project management, and statistics is an advantage

  • Reliable, flexible, customer-focused, and quality-oriented mindset.

  • Strong communication skills in German and English, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset
