Internship Scientist Forensic Chemistry 6 months contract

Role and responsibilities

Carry out analytical studies using the available Forensic Chemistry technologies (e.g., but not limited to: Light microscopy, FTIR and Raman spectroscopy) to support the needs of Lonza's customers and Operation Sites Filling of units (e.g. vials, PFS, bags). Corresponding documentation.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor or Master Matriculation or recent graduation from a university or technical college with a background in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, biotechnology, chemistry, biology, or related fields, candidates with a PhD (or equivalent) cannot be considered for this position

  • Self-motivated with a strong passion for science and interest in pharmaceutical R&D;

  • Flexibility, agility, and proactivity with a willingness to learn and execute complex tasks. A very strong team player

  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of accuracy; ability to judge plausibility of results

  • Lab work experience is a plus

  • Analytical instrument knowledge is a plus

  • Very good verbal and written communication skills, fluency in English
