Bioprocess Engineer for MMM MC1 DSP

Ensure that operational activities for clinical and/or commercial manufacturing are performed on-time and within given safety and quality standards. Act as the functional lead for preparation, manufacturing execution, cleaning and changeover in the assigned area. You will be responsible for executing and optimizing downstream purification steps—such as chromatography, virus inactivation, depth filtration, TFF, and filling—to ensure product quality, yield, and compliance with GMP standards. In charge of one or more defined DSP areas (e.g. gain, polishing or filling) for the purification of therapeutic proteins from mammalian (Bioprocess Engineer DSP)

• Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry or related Life Science subject, or Bachelor’s holder with experience in pharma production

• Knowledge in either USP (such as bioreactors) or DSP units (such as chromatography)

• Couple of years working experience in biomanufacturing required

• GMP experience and understanding of bioprocess technology

• Excellent communication skills in English, good German skills of advantage
