Scientist – Automation Workflows, Development Bioconjugates

Role and responsibilities
Develop and implement automation workflows across various scales in bioconjugate development. Collaborate with project teams to translate project needs into automated solutions. Train and support laboratory technicians in the execution of automated workflows and ensure scientifically sound execution of experiments. Plan, perform and document laboratory experiments in collaboration with laboratory technicians. Evaluate data for the preparation of reports or presentations. Support project leaders in the planning and organization of projects and experiments.

Qualifications and Skills
BSc. or MSc. degree in chemistry, biotechnology or a related field
Completion of an apprenticeship as a laboratory technician is beneficial
Hands-on experience with automated lab equipment, such as liquid handlers and small-scale/g-scale automated systems
Good understanding of general laboratory routines
Experience in bioconjugation, protein handling, protein chromatography is a plus
Sense of accuracy, quality and proactive problem-solving
Reliable team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Structured, focused and well-organized working attitude; open-minded for new ideas and suggestions; agile, highly motivated and dynamic; solution-oriented
Good written and oral communication skills in English and German
