Global Service Excellence Manager

Role and responsibilities

Define, harmonize, and continuously improve global service processes throughout the entire service lifecycle. Drive collaboration, alignment and decision-making across Service, Sales, Operations, IT, and other key business functions. Translate strategic objectives and business requirements into process designs, work instructions, and actionable implementation roadmaps. Ensure business processes are effectively enabled by CRM, ERP, and other digital platforms while identifying further optimization opportunities. Lead global service process improvement and transformation initiatives from concept through successful implementation, managing stakeholders, risks, and business outcomes. Drive rollout- and change management, training concepts, and communication measures to ensure stakeholder commitment and sustainable adoption of standardized processes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and managing stakeholders across different functions, seniority levels, and regions.

  • Strong track record in process harmonization, operational excellence, business transformation, or service optimization, ideally in a global organization.

  • 5+ years of experience in after-sales, field service, service operations, or comparable environment.

  • Strong understanding of process and project management, continuous improvement methodologies, and digital business systems such as CRM and ERP.

  • Additional qualifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), Lean Six Sigma certification, or comparable certifications are an advantage.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills, combined with a structured, analytical and execution-oriented approach.

  • Fluent in English; German language skills and international experience are an advantage. Willingness to travel internationally.
