Participate in end-to-end development activities, utilizing your expertise to support the team and contribute to high-quality solution delivery. Be part of and collaborate in an agile SCRUM environment. Develop backend software for complex mechatronic systems (Schleuniger E-Series machines).

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science or related field

  • 6-9 years of relevant experience in software development

  • Experience working with international, distributed teams with strong overlap to European time zones

  • Proven experience working in an agile setup (SCRUM, 3–5+ years)

  • Hands-on experience in C#/.NET, device communication, and hardware‑integrated systems

  • Solid experience in developing and maintaining series products

  • Strong understanding of clean code, clean architecture, and basic test automation

  • Very good debugging skills, especially with hardware interactions and communication protocols

  • Strong motivation to work on mechatronic systems and real devices

  • High quality mindset with focus on reliability, precision, and structured development

  • Collaborative and team-oriented

  • Open-minded, proactive, and engaged

  • Good analytical and problem‑solving abilities

  • Very good written and oral English, transparent communication style

  • Strong programming experience in C#/.NET (8 or later)

  • Hands-on experience with device communication protocols: Serial, TCP/UDP, USB

  • Understanding of asynchronous programming, multi-threading, and data streaming

  • Basic working knowledge of gRPC (services, clients, streaming)

  • Experience in testing with real hardware devices, debugging communication issues

  • Solid understanding of software design patterns, dependency injection, and modular architecture

  • Strong problem‑solving skills, debugging capabilities, and hardware lab comfort
