Role and responsibilities

Support national and international corporate clients and pension funds in all aspects of Swiss occupational pension schemes including transformation, compensation strategy, pension plan design and optimization. Support with the analysis of pension plans using data-driven and financially sound approaches. Support preparing technical reports, valuation documentation, and presentations with a focus on financial and actuarial results. Collaborate closely with senior actuaries and consultants on complex engagements and take ownership of defined analytical workstreams. Contribute to innovation and efficiency improvements in the way we work, including tool development, automation, the use of AI tools and advanced analytics applications. Contribute to business development activities, including preparing presentations and supporting internal and external initiatives. Participate in technical and soft skills internal training sessions. Depending on expertise and interest, support technical work such as actuarial pension valuations under IFRS or US GAAP, audits where pension specialist input is required, quantitative analyses, pension benefit calculations, impact assessments of plan changes and, benchmarking studies.

Qualifications and Skills

  • University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or a strongly quantitative field.

  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, VBA, Python, R, or similar) is a strong advantage.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work on complex problems in a structured way.

  • Curious mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to new situations.

  • Interest in the pension and insurance sector and motivation to develop towards an actuarial career.

  • Fluency in English required; German or French proficiency mandatory.

  • Interest in developing beyond the core role and contributing to broader team initiatives.
