Manager / Senior Manager SAP Business Transformation & Architecture

Role and responsibilities

Bridge business and IT at senior level: Act as a trusted interface between client business leaders, IT leadership, enterprise architects, and delivery teams. Translate strategic business objectives into pragmatic SAP architecture concepts and transformation roadmaps. Shape SAP enabled transformation programs: Assess clients' technology architectures, integration landscapes, process priorities, and transformation constraints. Recommend the optimal use of SAP S/4HANA (RISE and Grow), SAP Business Technology Platform, and related enterprise solutions. Lead architecture and delivery teams: Lead multidisciplinary teams of architects, consultants, technical specialists, client staff, and technology partners. Provide structure, direction, quality assurance, and escalation management across the full project lifecycle. Drive innovation with practical business value: Identify and lead innovation initiatives across SAP, cloud, integration, data, analytics, automation, and AI enabled capabilities. Convert ideas into feasible solutions, prototypes, and scalable implementation approaches. Own client relationships and stakeholder alignment: Manage senior stakeholder expectations, facilitate executive level discussions, and create clear decision materials that support alignment across business, IT, and program leadership. Contribute to growth and business development: Lead or support sales cycles, proposal development, solution shaping, and account growth initiatives. Identify opportunities in existing client engagements and help convert them into high quality work. Strengthen PwC thought leadership: Develop market facing content such as points of view, white papers, blog posts, client presentations, and conference material. Represent PwC credibly in client discussions and external forums.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Natural Sciences, Business Informatics, Business Administration with technology focus, or a related field.

  • Senior SAP transformation experience: Several years of experience in SAP enabled business transformation, technology architecture, ERP modernization, or enterprise application advisory, ideally in a multi national environment.

  • Architecture depth: Strong understanding of SAP product portfolio, SAP S/4HANA architecture, integration patterns, cloud adoption, data flows, and product placement strategy.

  • SAP capability focus: Deep knowledge in one or more SAP S/4HANA core areas and/or SAP Business Technology Platform, including integration, extension, data, analytics, automation, or application development capabilities.

  • Transformation methodology: Solid know how of large ERP transformations, migration concepts, fit to standard approaches, transformation requirements, target operating models, and methodologies such as SAP Activate.

  • Leadership and delivery ownership: Proven ability to lead workstreams, manage teams, structure complex problems, assure quality, and drive delivery in demanding client environments.

  • Consulting and commercial mindset: Strong management consulting skills, including opportunity identification, proposal support, executive storytelling, business case thinking, and high quality presentation and pitching skills.

  • Learning agility: Ability to understand new technology concepts rapidly, challenge assumptions, and apply a proactive, ownership driven mindset.

  • Language skills: Excellent written and spoken English.
