Senior Associate - Junior Proposal Manager (Advisory Major Pursuits)

Role and responsibilities

Lead proposal services for large and/or strategic advisory pursuits across industries, delivering high‑quality, RFP‑compliant responses. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of contributors and oversee content development, information gathering, design coordination and quality reviews throughout the pursuit lifecycle. Manage advisory pursuit processes end to end, ensuring adherence to RFP deadlines and effective resource allocation. Provide coaching on pursuit processes and related tasks, including prioritising and overseeing design support from onshore and offshore delivery centres. Work closely with partners, directors and pursuit team members to manage key internal stakeholders and contribute new ideas in a collaborative manner. Ensure early and thorough understanding of RFP requirements and define and communicate a clear response strategy and solution approach. Support the pursuit sales coach and engagement teams in developing win strategies, including compelling storytelling and differentiated value propositions. Build a strong understanding of the global PwC network and the Swiss organisation to identify and mobilise the most relevant expertise and credentials for each pursuit. Lead and participate in internal and external debriefings, embedding lessons learned into future pursuits. Support senior management on sales pipeline topics, including the use of tools such as Salesforce. Represent the Advisory Activation Hub in internal PwC forums, such as introductory training sessions for new joiners. Continuously evolve the online pursuit support platform and drive the implementation of AI‑enabled and digital solutions to streamline proposal management.

Qualifications and Skills

  • University degree in marketing, sales, business, finance, design or communications, journalism, or project management

  • Fluency in English and German, written and spoken, with the ability to moderate discussions and craft persuasive pitches; French is an advantage

  • Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to coordinate international and cross‑functional pursuit teams

  • Proven ability to translate complex information into clear, persuasive written and visual messages

  • Pragmatic, objective and creative approach to problem solving, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Experience in anticipating deadlines and managing a broad range of stakeholders, including senior leaders
