Sr Analyst Strategic Capacity Management

Role and responsibilities

Supports the Strategic Capacity Planning process in the Small Molecule platform, which includes creating, modifying, and maintaining demand and capacity models for our key product portfolios. Execute the annual renewal process of the strategic capacity plan and provide analysis as needed. Responsible for supporting the preparation of strategic analysis to support new product introductions, network configuration scenarios and/or capacity changes in the supply chain network. Connect with Plant planning, E2E Planning, Value Chain Leaders, External Supply Leads (PES) and/or other stakeholders to obtain and / or review data and network models to update and maintain our system. Partner with Strategic Demand group to ensure smooth data flow into the Strategic Capacity Planning system. Maintain data and models in the system, to drive the models. Use core functionality of the system to build graphs, publish scenarios, build dashboards, etc. Develop and implement improvements proposals from a process and modeling perspective, increasing team efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a numerate field - engineering, logistics, supply chain, computing, finance, or economics is required; advanced degree is preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a logistics, planning and/or manufacturing environment, within the Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Biologics or closely related industry.

  • Strong business insights to understand how decisions impact different parts of our supply chain.

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills are required, as are the abilities to master complexity and to integrate insights into strategies.

  • Ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority; build consensus and look for collaboration with people from different departments and all levels in global environment.

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities successfully and work independently while demonstrating initiative.

  • Good working knowledge of supply chains / global value chains.

  • Effective written and oral communication skills (English).
