Role and responsibilities
Lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of global demand, supply, and inventory planning processes for Spine, Sports, and CMF platforms. Own end‑to‑end supply planning execution to ensure product availability at the right place, in the right quantity, and at the right time to meet customer and commercial commitments. Validate net requirements from markets, identify short‑ and mid‑term constraints, and ensure accurate set‑level demand and supply plans aligned to platform needs. Own and lead the Global IBP / S&OP process for Spine, Sports, and CMF, ensuring strong governance, data‑driven decision making, and executive‑level readiness. Partner closely with Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing, Regional Supply Chain, and strategic manufacturing partners to align forecasts, capacity plans, and execution commitments. Lead and develop a global planning organization of approximately 18 associates, ensuring the right capabilities, engagement, productivity, and succession to meet current and future business needs. Establish, monitor, and act on key planning performance metrics, including service, inventory, forecast accuracy, manufacturing plan attainment, excess and obsolete inventory, NPI launch performance, and team productivity. Drive the development and deployment of advanced analytics capabilities to optimize end‑to‑end service, inventory, and cost performance across the platforms. Represent Global Planning on the Spine/Sports/CMF end‑to‑end Supply Chain Leadership Team, providing transparent insights, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership.

Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree required; preference for Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
Typically 10-12 of progressive experience in supply chain, planning, or operations within a global, matrixed organization.
Proven leadership experience managing global teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
Strong expertise in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and S&OP / IBP processes.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
Fluency in English required; additional European languages are a plus.
Up to 20–30% international travel, as business needs require.
