Associate Product Manager Joint Reconstruction, Orthopaedics

Role and responsibilities

Own defined product groups and actively manage performance across the full product lifecycle. Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and selected external partners, ensuring strong alignment across functions. Contribute to and drive elements of go-to-market strategies and product launch plans. Lead or co-lead the execution of new product launches, ensuring timely and high-quality implementation in the Swiss market. Partner closely with Sales teams to support commercial execution, drive product adoption, and achieve business targets. Drive market segmentation, targeting, and product positioning based on customer insights and competitive dynamics. Analyze KPIs, market data, and financial performance to identify growth opportunities and support decision-making. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, hospital decision makers, and internal partners. Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis to anticipate trends and identify risks and opportunities. Take ownership of selected projects (e.g. campaigns, trainings, events) and ensure successful execution. Collaborate cross-functionally with EMEA Marketing, Global Marketing, R&D;, Supply Chain, and other key functions. Ensure alignment with supply chain processes to support product availability and mitigate business risks. Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality standards, and healthcare regulations (e.g. HCC, legal, regulatory).

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education/training in an orthopaedic OR environment or a degree (Uni / FH / ETH)

  • 2+ years of professional experience in product management, marketing, or sales (medical devices preferred)

  • Experience in orthopaedics or the healthcare industry is a strong advantage

  • German and English fluent (business level); French / Italian a plus

  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

  • Proactive and results-driven mindset with a high level of ownership and accountability

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across functions and levels

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Travel: 20–30%
