Role and responsibilities
Define and execute the regional logistics strategy across Central Eastern Europe. Design, implement and continuously improve the regional logistics operating model, ensuring standardized processes, governance and best practices while supporting local execution. Lead transportation, warehousing, distribution, dispatching and customer service excellence initiatives to improve operational efficiency, service reliability and customer experience. Drive disciplined logistics cost management by identifying efficiency opportunities, optimizing network design and improving productivity while maintaining high service levels. Lead the adoption of digital logistics solutions, advanced analytics and automation to improve visibility, planning, decision-making and operational performance. Drive performance through key logistics KPIs, including service reliability, transport productivity, asset utilization, safety and cost-to-serve, ensuring data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. Build and maintain strategic relationships with logistics providers and key internal and external stakeholders. Strengthen logistics governance while ensuring compliance with health, safety, regulatory and sustainability standards and proactively managing operational risks and business continuity. Lead cross-functional collaboration with procurement, manufacturing, commercial, customer excellence, finance and supply chain teams. Develop high-performing logistics teams by investing in capability building, leadership development, succession planning and knowledge sharing. Foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, innovation and continuous improvement. Support decarbonization initiatives through more sustainable transport solutions and network optimization.

Qualifications and Skills
University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Procurement, Business Administration or a related discipline.
10+ years of progressive experience in logistics or supply chain leadership, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Proven experience leading regional, multi-site or cross-country operations and driving business transformation.
Strong understanding of transport networks, warehousing, distribution, dispatching, logistics performance management and cost optimization.
Experience with digital logistics solutions, analytics and continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions, countries and cultures.
Strategic mindset combined with strong operational and execution capabilities.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop teams, lead through influence and drive change in a decentralized environment.
Resilient, customer-focused and committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
Willingness to travel regularly within the region.
